Community of young people supporting each other

Because every young person deserves more

More than a statistic. More than a case number. More than the system that raised them.

Our mission is to empower foster youth ages 18 to 21 by providing safe, supportive transitional housing and the essential life skills needed to thrive independently.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Sacramento and the Bay Area. We exist because too many young people leave the foster care system with nowhere to go, no one to call, and no preparation for what comes next. ACF was built to change that.

Why This Matters

The foster care system ends at 21

These are not just numbers. They represent real young people facing housing instability, joblessness, academic challenges, early parenthood, and substance use. We believe that with the right support at the right time, these outcomes are not inevitable. Our goal is to equip youth with the tools, confidence, and stability needed to build self-sufficient, successful, and sustainable lives.

Founded by people who
saw the gap

Nicole Roeseler and Cordis Webb started ACF because they witnessed firsthand how foster youth were falling through the cracks. Their lived experience, professional backgrounds, and deep community ties drive everything we do.
